Friends of Greville Smyth Park (FrOGS) help look after the park and boy do WE NEED YOU! If you’re interested in helping out, or just staying informed please share your email here. The group has dwindled to just a few people, and the park is suffering. If you want to make a positive impact, now is your time.
The rateBS3 report of local people’s views showed a lot of love for the park, told us what park users want, and now fresh FrOGS members are trying to turn those great ideas into action.
We need all ages to be Tree Champions, Wildlife Warriors, Pond Champions, Fantastic Fundraisers, Path Fixers, Playpark Legends, Junior Park Runners, Toilet Troubadours, Chat & Strategy Minds, and even a team to help us pull together a FrOGS FEST – an annual event which might just help fund improvements all year round. So you can see we have loads of ideas, but very few people to make them happen. Please share this info, please encourage others. We’re hoping each team will take control, making their own positive impact on our shared space. Feel free to share the sign-up link: http://eepurl.com/gAGKrb

FrOGS is a community organisation that helps to look after Greville Smyth Park and the surrounding area (including Ashton Meadows) in partnership with Bristol City Council. We are a non-profit making environmental body which aims to improve and develop the environment and facilities in and around Greville Smyth Park, improve safety and accessibility and encourage more local residents to care for, improve and use the park responsibly.
